The folks on Harper, just off Ashby, are as fond of daschunds as the family on Ada is of zebras. As creative a use of old hydrogen gas cylinders as you’re likely to find anywhere, the work is that of artists Patrick Amiot and Brigitte Laurent—he the metalworker, she the painter—whose giant creatures can be seen all around Sebastopol in Sonoma County.
