Berkeley Campus Scenes by Pedro J. Lemos
JimmyCPhoto is now offering a beautiful set of framed prints of Berkeley campus scenes by master color block artist Pedro J. Lemos. Although not well known today, Lemos was a leading figure in the Bay Area’s “Arts and Crafts” era, and was not only an important artist and educator of the applied arts and design in numerous media, but also an architectural designer, writer, publisher, painter, and printmaker. Both the De Young Museum and the Oakland Museum of California hold examples of his work.

This unique set of prints was produced for the “Blue and Gold” Yearbook of the University of California’s Class of 1917. They have been digitally scanned on high-quality graphic paper and hand-fused on a wooden block with recessed bracing for immediate wall-mounting. A clear coat of UV film is applied to protect and enhance color stability. They are available as either approximately 5 ½” x 7”, or 8" x 10".

In the 5 1/2 x 7 size, each print costs $35 as framed (or $90 for any combination of three). The entire set of 10 is available for $250. Prices for the 8" x 10" size are $50 individually ($135 for any three, and $400 for the set of 10). Shipping and handling extra. Please email jimmy@jimmycphoto.com, identifying which print(s) you wish to order.

A wonderful gift for anyone who loves Berkeley—student, visitor, resident—or, for that matter, anyone who loves art!
